Our senior executive team is comprised of the following experienced individuals:
RAMON DIAZ, President
Ramon Diaz has been President of Banner Staffing’s Board of Management and Chief Executive since February 25th, 2000; bringing more than 25 years executive management experience. He is responsible for overseeing the Banner Staffing direction and strategy, and overall operations including sales, support, consulting, marketing and placement strategies, corporate planning and business development. He focuses on strategy, leadership, innovation, customers, partners, and our employees. Mr. Diaz has extensive knowledge and experience in a business-to-business environment and has grown the company into an established federal prime contractor currently serving Civilian and DoD clients with staff deployed in 20 states and territories.
Prior to founding Banner Staffing, Mr. Diaz was Managing Broker for the Global Realty since March 5th, 1990. Mr. Diaz was responsible for overseeing all the employees and associates, corporate planning and business development, and implementing the Global Realty Strategy to growing businesses.
PATRICIA BURKE, Chief Operation Officer
Patricia Burke, Chief Operation Officer since May 2000, brings over 30 years of experience in managing commercial and federal contracts, and providing financial, management and administrative support services. In her current role at Banner Staffing, she manages and oversees daily operations: payroll, human resources, recruiting, interviews and testing, and professional performance oversight, which entails maintaining relations with customers, employees, and onsite management.
Prior to joining Banner Staffing, Patricia Burke was responsible for all operations aspects of a formerly newly-formed Office Specialist expansion branch, including development of sales and operations staff, new revenue generation, budget and sales planning, and expanding the OS client base.
Robin M. Smith Sr, Lieutenant Colonel (USA retired), Business Development/Operations Manager
Robin M. Smith Sr. has over 30 years of experience in military operations and personnel management as a member of the United States Army. Mr. Smith provides strategic and operational leadership for Banner Staffing and its many clients.
Prior to Joining Banner Staffing, Mr. Smith was the Chief of the Services and Support Division, G1 for the United States Army Reserve Command. As a Human Resources Senior Management Advisor, Mr. Smith provided expert analysis and policy leadership for plans and programs affecting all Army Reserve Soldiers, Family Members and DOD Civilians, located within and outside of the Continental United States.
TAMIKA MOBLEY, Human Resources
Tamika Mobley is an experienced human resources professional who excels in providing practical, professional HR guidance to our employees and the clients she supports. Tamika has high energy and a positive, get the job done attitude. She brings over 15 years experience in various Human Resource roles in corporate and nonprofit settings. Having a wide range of HR experience as a Senior HR Specialist, Tamika touched HR functions including HRIS, employee relations, benefits, recruiting, and payroll processing. In her role as HR Manager, she successfully helped to implement a new payroll and HR system that furthered alignment with company goals. She has expanded her experiences by leading HR/client service functions and providing strategic direction to senior management and objectives of promoting a healthy, productive workforce.
KAREN WARREN, SPHR, SHRM–SCP, Project Manager
Karen Warren has over a decade of Human Resources experience. Karen provides strategic contract management and ongoing leadership and has a proven record of success in operations management, process improvement, and client satisfaction.
Prior to joining Banner Staffing, Karen was an award-winning Operations Manager and Project Manager at PDI Ninth House (now a Korn/Ferry company) where she partnered with consultants, directors and senior executives in the project management of large global projects and development programs including delivery, schedules, resources and financials.
Karen Warren holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Eastern Illinois University. She is an active member of the National Management Association.
SHIRLEY M. MARTIN, Lieutenant Colonel (USA retired), Project Manager
Shirley M. Martin has over 42 years experience in personnel management as a member of the Army Reserve military technician program and in the corporate retail profession. She oversees the planning, development, and implementation of project management tools and techniques for the delivery of all projects for the Army Reserve Program.
Prior to Joining Banner Staffing, Shirley was the Human Resource Officer in the 377th Theater Sustainment Command, responsible for many special well-being programs, including the Yellow Ribbon Program. She is a veteran of the Iraq war and deployed overseas on many short and long term missions. Her military service combined with her personnel management experience uniquely qualifies her to work with service and family members as they progress through the deployment cycle and the Yellow Ribbon training program.
